Curriculum Approach
Through God’s Word and the ACE curriculum, every child learns at their own pace while growing in character, responsibility, and confidence for life.
The ACE Curriculum
At Shayandima School of Tomorrow, we use the internationally recognized ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum, CAPS-aligned and Christ-centred. ACE is a mastery-based, individualized learning system that supports academic excellence, spiritual growth, and life skills development.
01
Individualized Learning
Self-paced, mastery-based learning that builds confidence and strong academic foundations.
02
Faith-Integrated Education
Biblical values woven into every subject, shaping both character and faith.
03
Life Skills & Character
Developing independence, discipline, and critical life skills for lifelong success.

Learning Pathways
From a few weeks to a few years, we have a place for you to step into God’s story.
ECD
Phase
preschool: age 4
In the ECD (Early Childhood Development) phase, learning is centered around exploration, curiosity, and early skill development in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Learners engage in play-based activities and soft-play routines that develop motor skills, basic numeracy, early literacy, language development, and social interaction — while also forming strong foundations of faith.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS

Foundation
Phase
Grades R to 3
The Foundation Phase focuses on learning to read so that later on learners can read to learn. The academic program develops skills in reading, writing, phonics, and mathematics, as well as physical development. Learners develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a love for learning through the ACE curriculum. Faith integration remains central, helping children apply Biblical principles in daily life.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS

Intermediate
Phase
Grades 4 to 6
Learners build on their foundation and read to learn. The ACE approach encourages independent study, critical thinking, and practical application of knowledge while continuing to build moral character and spiritual growth. They also get to explore some new areas of activity, such as robotics, computer literacy and some exciting physical activities like indoor wall climbing and team sports.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS

Senior
Phase
Grades 7 to 9
In the Senior Phase, learners engage with more complex academic material, developing responsibility, time management, and practical study skills. Leadership, character development, and application of knowledge in real-life situations are emphasized, alongside continued spiritual growth.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS

FET
Phase
Grades 10 to 12
The FET (Further Education and Training) Phase prepares students for life beyond school — whether in higher education, vocational avenues, or ministry. Our internationally recognized Grade 12 qualification opens doors for further study at university or college, while our focus on character development equips graduates to contribute positively and confidently to society. ACE courses meet international standards, and students continue to develop leadership, decision-making, and life skills rooted in biblical value.
