Learning Pathways

From a few weeks to a few years, we have a place for you to step into God’s story.

ECD

preschool: age 4

In the ECD (Early Childhood Development) phase, learning is centered around exploration, curiosity, and early skill development in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Learners engage in play-based activities and soft-play routines that develop motor skills, basic numeracy, early literacy, language development, and social interaction — while also forming strong foundations of faith.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Early literacy, numeracy, and motor skill development
  • Introduction to daily Bible stories and devotionals
  • Play-based learning that encourages curiosity and creativity
  • Safe, nurturing, and supportive environment

Foundation

Phase

Grades R to 3

The Foundation Phase focuses on learning to read so that later on learners can read to learn. The academic program develops skills in reading, writing, phonics, and mathematics, as well as physical development. Learners develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a love for learning through the ACE curriculum. Faith integration remains central, helping children apply Biblical principles in daily life.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Reading, writing, phonics, and mathematics mastery
  • Development of independent learning habits and critical thinking skills
  • Daily Bible lessons and character formation
  • Encouragement of creativity, teamwork, and social skills

Intermediate

Phase

Grades 4 to 6

Learners build on their foundation and read to learn. The ACE approach encourages independent study, critical thinking, and practical application of knowledge while continuing to build moral character and spiritual growth. They also get to explore some new areas of activity, such as robotics, computer literacy and some exciting physical activities like indoor wall climbing and team sports.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Engage with new areas of learning and consolidate core skills
  • Independent learning, problem-solving, and study skills
  • Integration of Biblical principles across subjects
  • Opportunities for creative expression and collaboration

Senior

Phase

Grades 7 to 9

Our internationally recognized Grade 12 qualification opens doors for further study at university or college, while our focus on character development equips graduates to contribute positively and confidently to society. ACE courses meet international standards, and students continue to develop leadership, decision-making, and life skills rooted in biblical value.
